A Better Tomorrow, founded in 2014, is a not-for-profit organisation (CIC) which is peer-led, being mostly staffed by people who have lived experience of addiction, mental ill-health or domestic abuse.
In 2018, A Better Tomorrow established a self-contained hub within the community at the Park Lane Community Centre in the Woodside area of Telford. Facilities here include offices, kitchen, toilets, classrooms, outside gym, as well as a large social space that is used for various activities such as cooking groups, art groups, drug and alcohol recovery groups, mindfulness, Alcoholics Anonymous, and Narcotics Anonymous.

Our clients are committed to maintaining their abstinence from illicit drugs and alcohol, getting support for their mental health, or finding a safe home after becoming homeless or fleeing domestic abuse. With our support and their own motivation to change, they are helped to improve their lives and reintegrated back into society as valuable members of the community.
Many of our clients have remained abstinent for long periods of time and have returned to full or part-time employment, while others have moved on to their own accommodation and resumed work.
