Our service

We provide safe housing to those fleeing from domestic abuse. Our housing consists of a four-bedroom house with four residents.

Our safe houses have a fully functioning security system, including cameras, high-security doors and locks, and a video intercom system for the front door. This is all added security to make the residents feel as safe as possible.

A Better Tomorrow also offers intensive support for residents from a dedicated worker with lived experience and expertise in domestic abuse.

We offer a variety of psychosocial groups facilitated by experienced professionals. These groups provide a safe and supportive environment.

Peer support

We allow individuals to share their experiences and gain strength from others who understand their struggles.

Promote wellbeing

We offer a diverse range of activities designed to promote wellbeing including; arts and crafts, baking, cooking and music.

Individualised support

We offer one-on-one support with experienced professionals who can address individual concerns and provide guidance in a confidential setting.

Your journey to recovery

Refer yourself/ someone

When you fill out an online referral or call us, your details are sent to the correct department within A Better Tomorrow.

Initial contact

Our staff will phone and text the client to establish contact. An initial assessment is then made and if the client wishes to proceed, a face-to-face assessment is booked in.

Face to face assessment

During the assessment, the client is told what would be expected of them within the project and staff are able to ensure all questions pertinent to our policies and procedures are met.

Decision

After the assessment has been completed the team will then discuss if the client is suitable for the project and perhaps bring in another department if necessary. A decision is then made.

Move in

The client is contacted again and a move in date is arranged. As long all criteria are met on that date the client will be moved in.
