We’re thrilled, honoured and humbled to have been recognised as part of the High Sheriff of Shropshire’s awards, alongside so many amazing people and charities working hard for Shropshire and our people. What an amazing county.
On Monday evening, A Better Tomorrow’s Chief Operating Officer, Martin Cantrill, attended the High Sheriff’s awards ceremony on behalf of himself and Scott Morgan, CEO, who were both recognised in the awards. The ceremony celebrated volunteers, charities and organisations making outstanding contributions to the local community.
The High Sheriff, Jane Trowbridge, described the evening as “joyous,” recognising “amazing volunteers who have made an outstanding contribution to their local community… celebrating all that is so good in this county.”
"Receiving an award from the High Sheriff was a significant honour. It is a life passion and not a job to assist individuals in their recovery. The team feels like working with my family rather than colleagues. I feel fortunate to be doing what I do, no awards are necessary, but I am grateful, nonetheless. It is a real pleasure to see A Better Tomorrow recognised with an award as well.""

The High Sheriff awards recognise individuals and organisations for outstanding contributions to their local communities, especially in promoting justice, aiding victims, preventing crime, and supporting the police, courts, and voluntary sectors.
A Better Tomorrow has always been client focussed and we want to be able to help as many people as possible. With your support, this makes us able to provide more support and guidance to vulnerable individuals in our community.
