post by Telford Lions Club donates £700 to A Better Tomorrow Charity
June 22, 2026

We are delighted to share that A Better Tomorrow has received a generous £700 donation from Telford Lions Club, in support of our clients’ journey towards new skills and independence.
The donation will fund transport for clients attending an upcoming programme at Crowsmill Craft Centre, a fantastic space where people in recovery can discover new passions, build confidence, and develop real employability skills. For many of our clients, travel is the first hurdle, and this gift removes it.
Scott Morgan, CEO said:
“Recovery doesn’t stand still. It’s about building something, trying new things.
Opportunities like Crowsmill give our clients a chance to discover what their hidden capabilities are.
Telford Lions have made sure that a lack of transport won’t stand in the way of that. We’re extremely grateful. Working together in challenging times is pivotal for all.”
In June, Sam Connor and Pam Ferriday visited ABT to find out more about our work. Having previously supported the CIC, we are thrilled that they are now able to extend that support to the charity, and we were over the moon to learn of the club’s unanimous vote to donate. Thank you to all the members.
We are also looking forward to working more closely with Telford Lions in the future, with exciting plans to explore volunteering opportunities for our clients.
A huge thank you to everyone at Telford Lions Club for your kindness and belief in what A Better Tomorrow is working to achieve. We look forward to sharing updates when the course commences!
A Better Tomorrow is client-focused. We strive to help as many people as possible. With your support, we can provide even more care and guidance to vulnerable individuals in our community.
